To my valued readers and subscribers,
Over the past several years, you have joined me across multiple spaces. Through Age is Just a Podcast, Truth in the Quiet Hours, Declan Rourke Mysteries, and The Pride Channel, we have explored stories, ideas, identity, memory, and meaning together. Each publication has held a piece of the larger vision I have been building as an author and content creator.
Now, it is time to bring those pieces together.
I am excited to announce that all of my content is being consolidated into a single, unified publication: J. H. Irwin ๐ J. H. Irwin on Substack
This move is intentional. It allows me to create a more focused, more powerful platform that reflects the full scope of my work. By bringing everything under one roof, I can deliver a richer experience, streamline how content is shared, and build something more meaningful for all of us.
What this means for you:
Your current subscriptions will be seamlessly migrated to the new publication
You will continue to receive content without interruption
You will gain access to new and improved features, expanded offerings, and enhanced subscription tiers
All future writing, podcasts, serialized novels, and commentary will live in one place
Important date:
All existing Substack publications listed above will be officially decommissioned on Friday, March 20th, 2026
This is not an ending. It is a transition forward.
As part of this change, Life of Riley will be retired in its current form. That said, Riley has been and remains an important part of my creative journey, and you may still see his spirit woven into future storytelling in new ways.
I want to take a moment to say thank you.
Thank you for reading.
Thank you for listening.
Thank you for believing in the work.
Your support has made it possible for me to grow, evolve, and take this next step with purpose and clarity. I do not take that lightly.
I hope you will continue this journey with me as we step into a more unified, more intentional space. The stories will deepen. The conversations will sharpen. The work will continue to center humanitarianism, pro democracy values, and pro human rights, while still making room for reflection, creativity, and connection.
This next chapter begins now.
I look forward to welcoming you there.
With gratitude,
J. H. Irwin
